- Submit a Records Retrieval Request by completing the form and emailing to the appropriate Building Department Office email. Once submitted the office will contact you for confirmation and fee payment.
- Section 57 of the Community Charter was provided to local governments by the Province of British Columbia as a tool to administer and enforce the BC Building Code and local building bylaws. It enables local governments to register a notice, via the Land Title Office registrar, on the title of a property where there is, or has been, a building code or bylaw infraction.

- To report construction you suspect has been built without building permits, use our online form.
- You can renew your permit, one time only for 1 year (prior to expiry date) for a fee of $100.00.
- After a renewal permit expires, you may apply for a replacement permit, which will be valid for 3 years from date of issuance.
