The RDCK Geospatial Service provides Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping solutions for the Regional District of Central Kootenay and our member municipalities.

The GIS Team supports development planning, asset management, operations, emergency management and other regional spatial needs, ensuring data-driven-decision-making through data analytics and innovative GIS solutions.

The RDCK Public Web Map is offered as a free public GIS Service, providing regional transparency and information about RDCK Services, properties, Civic Addressing, Zoning, Municipal Partners and more.

Residents can self-serve their mapping needs, view land-based information, generate property reports and gain better overall spatial awareness in their communities.

The map data shown are approximate representation for reference purposes only. The Regional District of Central Kootenay is not liable for any errors or omissions on this map nor any loss or damage resulting from the use of this map.

Municipal Partners can log into the Internal RDCK Web Map. contact the GIS team for assistance.

The RDCK GIS department assigns and manages Civic Addressing as part of the 9-1-1 Service.

All dwellings must have an official RDCK civic address to guarantee 9-1-1 response.

Civic Addresses can be verified by searching in the RDCK Public Web Map. If an address does not appear in the web map, it does not exist in the 9-1-1 system. Click on the links below for more information.
