2026 General Local Election – Saturday, October 17, 2026
About the Election
The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is holding the 2026 General Local Election for eligible voters in Electoral Areas A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I , J and K.
Eligible voters in these areas will vote for a Director for their electoral area, as well as in the School District Trustee Election for School District No. 8, School District No. 10 and School District No. 20.
Electoral Area Directors advocate for residents on the Regional Board and work collaboratively to make decisions about local and regional services.
