New Denver Gymnasium Bookings

The New Denver Gymnasium is available for third-party bookings, offering an opportunity to expand recreation opportunities within the community. The gymnasium will be available so additional activities can be offered to the community while ensuring that access for general public use remains protected.

Requests to book the New Denver gym can be made by groups who are offering the following types of activities:

  • Activities specific to individual health and wellness with a focus on physical activity.
  • Group fitness or sport activities.
  • Other recreational activities involving physical movement.

Third-party usage can occur during non-public operational times as determined by the Commission.

Times where bookings are permitted is from:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00am to 3:00pm and 6:30 to 9:00pm
  • Saturday & Sundays: 6:00am to 12:00pm and 6:00-10:00pm

The gymnasium is the only space within the facility available for third-party bookings. The fitness centre and its equipment are not included in rentals and will remain open for public use at all times.

When the gymnasium is booked, it’s reserved exclusively for the renter and is not accessible to the general public during that time.

We kindly ask that renters do not use the fitness centre or any of its equipment, as that space is shared and intended for public access only.

Rental fees are based on the rates listed in the Community Service Fees & Charges schedule. For gym bookings, the “small/medium room rental” rates apply.
