Castlegar & District Community Complex
The Castlegar & District Community Complex is a multi-purpose facility that houses an Arena, a 6 lane, 25 meter pool and leisure pool, whirlpool, weight room, fitness studio, meeting rooms, banquet facility, kitchen and Senior Centre. Adjacent to the facility are four tennis courts, soccer/football field, ball diamond and skate boarding park
Our facility hours of operations are Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

- Reservations are available for specific programs in advance.
- Youth 13-15 years of age are required to participate in the Youth Weight Room orientations before they can access the Fitness Centre.
The Active Pass is a time-based membership that gives pass-holders unlimited general admission to: Public Swim, Lane Swim, Hot Tub, Fitness Centre, Included w/Admission group fitness classes, Public Skate, and Shinny Hockey. Prices do not include tax.

- Registration for included with admission programs, within 24 hours of a program start time, is only available to those who have purchased a 1, 3, or 6 month Active Pass time-based-membership or Golden Guests.
- In-person registration is required, for users who do not have a 1, 3, or 6 month Active Pass time-based membership, one hour prior to the program start time. If you do not have a time-based-membership, you can no longer call the front desk to register.
- In order to receive the second adult or youth Active Pass discount, you must purchase the initial pass at the same time.
The Leisure Access Program helps residents of all ages living in the RDCK who are in financial hardship access RDCK recreation services. This program provides further subsidy on general admission, membership services, and registered programs. Individuals and families are welcome to apply.

The program is undergoing changes. All current pass holders will have their pass extended until May 31, 2025. Users will start to see new program details emerge before the reapplication date of May 31, 2025.

Contact the CDRD for an opportunity to rent a lane.

Banquet Hall & Meeting Rooms
The Castlegar & District Community Complex offers event space for large and small events. Facilities include a banquet hall for weddings and large conferences, commercial kitchen, and smaller meeting rooms. The Monashee, Purcell and Selkirk Rooms can be used as 3 separate rooms or can be transformed into a single room that can accommodate up to 500 people and a variety of set up configurations to suit your needs.
Our rental rates include tables and chairs set up to your specifications as well as staging, P/A system, microphones, podiums, screens, whiteboards, flip chart stands and more. LCD projector is available to rent. Kitchen includes table settings and wine glasses.
