Repair Café Nelson

Take your broken or damaged items to get repaired for FREE with the help of skilled local volunteers!

This Saturday, on July 5^th, the Repair Café Nelson is opening their first event at the Nelson District Rod and Gun Club from 10am to 3pm.

A Repair Café is a community event where people can bring their broken or damaged items, and the skilled volunteers will work together with attendees to fix them for FREE.

This event also serves beyond just repairing items. A Repair Café is an event where people can share knowledge, meet new members of the community, enhance circular economy, and reduce waste going into the landfills.

At the Repair Café, a wide variety of items can be fixed;

• Small appliances
• Clothing and Textiles
• Bikes
• Electronics
• Furniture
• Other household items
