Creston Household Hazardous Waste Round-Up Event

**The RDCK is hosting the spring Household Hazardous Waste Collection event at the Creston Landfill again this month**

All RDCK residents from Creston and surrounding areas are invited to bring their residential household hazardous waste for disposal.  Electronics, paints, light bulbs, batteries, used oils and much more, will also be accepted!

• These are a well attended events, and high volumes of different materials are brought in.  Please keep in mind that there may be a brief wait while we serve as many members of the community as possible.
• It will be greatly appreciated if materials arrive pre-sorted into their respective categories. Having materials sorted prior to disposal greatly reduces service time & keeps everyone moving through the collection area seamlessly.
• This event is for ‘Residential’ disposals ONLY.  Commercial loads are asked to contact local Hazardous Waste Haulers or reach out to the Recycling Council of BC (B.C. Tol-Free:  1-800-667-4321) for more information.
