Burton Water System Public Information Meeting

The Regional District of Central Kootenay invites Burton Water System users to a public meeting to discuss the 2025 water rates and ongoing system challenges – we would like to hear your concerns and answer your questions. Please spread the word to your neighbours who may not be subscribers to the Voyent alert system.

The Burton Water System, serving 54 connections and supporting $6.8 million in critical infrastructure, faces ongoing capital asset replacement needs. Most of the original system was constructed with asbestos-concrete pipe that is now at end of life and requires replacement. We encourage all users to attend, discuss rates, current and future construction projects and plans, and also learn about the system.
