Looking for an exciting and active way to engage your students? Our facilities offer the opportunity for schools to book time in the pool, fitness centre, or arena for structured programs or recreational sessions. Whether you’re planning a swimming lesson, a fun skate, or a fitness-focused field trip, we’ve got you covered!
Facility Booking Request Form
Class Type
- 4 lesson blocks of 25-minute classes offered at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels. Length of booking is subject to group size and instructor availability.
- Students not engaged in instruction can participate in an unstructured fun swim at no additional charge. Fun swim duration and fun feature usage may be limited by lifeguard capacity. Please review fun swim policies below.
- The minimum age for school swim lessons is 6 years.
- Bookings will be received on a first come first serve basis.
Price
- Lessons are $5.75 per student per lesson.

Class Type
- Access to the pool for unstructured fun swim during regular public swim times.
- Admission policy: Children 6 years of age and under must be within arms’ reach of a responsible adult 16 years of age or older who is in the water providing active supervision. Each adult may supervise a maximum of 3 children.
- Bookings will be received on a first come first serve basis.
Price
- General admission prices apply.
Class Type
- Private ice rental for an unstructured fun skate.
- Fun Skates require a 1-hour minimum event booking.
- One staff member is required for every 50 students. Additional staff will be scheduled as group size increases.
- Bookings will be received on a first come first serve basis.
Equipment Rentals
- Helmets: .95 cents + tax
- Skates: $2.85 + tax
We encourage students to bring skates and helmets to fun skate events as rentals are limited.
Availability & Price
The following blocks of time are available for youth schools and college bookings. You are not required to book the entire block of time.

Our Learn to Skate for Schools program offers a fun, safe, and educational introduction to ice skating for students of all ages and skill levels (including adult students). Designed specifically for schools, this program combines physical activity with skill development, helping students build confidence, coordination, and a love for skating.
Class Type
- Students learn the basics of balance, gliding, stopping, and turning.
- Skate instruction plus practice time to reinforce new skills.
- Students are placed into stations based on ability for the best learning environment.
- Perfect for PE classes, field trips, or enrichment activities.
- Sessions will be booked in 1 hour time slots for a max of 30 students.
- You may book up to 3 sessions with the same class/group of students.
Price
- Sessions are $8.00 per student per hour

Class Type
- General admission access to the fitness centre for unstructured use.
- Youth orientations must be completed by all students ages 13 – 15 years.

Class Type
- Space and equipment rentals available for:
- Outdoor courts (basketball, volleyball, pickleball)
- Fields, arena dry floor, meeting rooms, and more
Bookings will be received on a first come first serve basis.
- Bookings must be confirmed and paid for by the school’s authorized principal or administrative staff. If your designated staff contact has changed, please update your school account by contacting your local community complex.
- All facility rentals and instructed programs must be pre-booked. This ensures we have space and staff ready for your students.
- Bookings must be completed and paid for at least two weeks in advance. If this is not done, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
- As per RDCK’s cancellation policy, you may cancel up to 7 days in advance at no charge. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the booking will be charged 100%.
- For instructed programs, refunds are not available for students who are absent.
- For general admission:
- Advance notice is still required so we can ensure sufficient staff to welcome your group.
- Students may use their personal memberships, including any applicable LAP subsidy.
- For students without memberships, general admission fees can be paid on arrival, or schools may be billed for students present on the day (with prior approval from the authorized principal or administrative staff).
- All bookings require teacher and/or volunteer supervision. There is no charge for supervising teachings/volunteers.
