Nelson & District Community Complex

The Nelson & District Community Complex is multi-purpose recreation facility.  The faciliy includes a Fitness Centre, Aquatic Centre, ice arena and multi-purpose rooms.  We also host a variety of drop-in recreation programs for your whole family each week that are included with general admission.

                                                      

 
 

 

General Admission Rates

  • *10-punch passes expire 1 year from date of purchase.
  • Leisure Access Program rates apply.
  • Reservations are available for specific programs in advance.
  • Youth 13-15 years of age are required to participate in the Youth Weight Room orientations before they can access the Fitness Centre.

Active Passes

The Active Pass is a time-based membership that gives pass-holders unlimited general admission to: Public Swim, Lane Swim, Hot Tub, Fitness Centre, Included w/Admission group fitness classes, Public Skate, and Shinny Hockey. Prices do not include tax.

Registration for included with admission programs, within 24 hours of a program start time, is only available to those who have purchased a 1, 3, or 6 month Active Pass time-based-membership or Golden Guests.
 

In-person registration is required, for users who do not have a 1, 3, or 6 month Active Pass time-based membership, one hour prior to the program start time. If you do not have a time-based-membership, you can no longer call the front desk to register.

Leisure Access Pass

The Leisure Access Program helps residents of all ages living in the RDCK who are in financial hardship access RDCK recreation services. This program provides further subsidy on general admission, membership services, and registered programs. Individuals and families are welcome to apply.

The program is undergoing changes. All current pass holders will have their pass extended until May 31, 2025. Users will start to see new program details emerge before the reapplication date of May 31, 2025.

  • 5 dressing rooms with bathrooms and showers

Multi-Purpose Room

The multi-purpose room holds up to 39 people and can be rented for events from meetings, birthday partys or training sessions.

North Shore Hall

The North Shore Hall is available to rent for meetings or social events and can accomodate up to 191 people.
