Nelson & District Community Complex

The Neslon & District Community Complex is multi-purpose facility with a full gym/weight room, studio, arena, a 6 lane, 25 metre lap pool, leisure pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room.  We also host a variety of drop-in recreation programs for your whole family each week, included in general admission.

                                                      

 
Our facility hours of operations are Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The pool will be closed from September 3-17 and the fitness studio will be closed from August 27-September 4 for the annual shutdown. The entire facility will be closed on September 3 and 4.

General Admission Rates

  • *10-punch passes expire 1 year from date of purchase.
  • Leisure Access Program rates apply.
  • Reservations are available for specific programs in advance.
  • Youth 13-15 years of age are required to participate in the Youth Weight Room orientations before they can access the Fitness Centre.

Active Passes

The Active Pass is a time-based membership that gives pass-holders unlimited general admission to: Public Swim, Lane Swim, Hot Tub, Fitness Centre, Included w/Admission group fitness classes, Public Skate, and Shinny Hockey. Prices do not include tax.

Registration for included with admission programs, within 24 hours of a program start time, is only available to those who have purchased a 1, 3, or 6 month Active Pass time-based-membership or Golden Guests.
 

In-person registration is required, for users who do not have a 1, 3, or 6 month Active Pass time-based membership, one hour prior to the program start time. If you do not have a time-based-membership, you can no longer call the front desk to register.

Leisure Access Pass

The Leisure Access Pass provides an opportunity for families and individuals with financial need in our community with an opportunity to participate in recreation services. The program provides a 50% discount on admission fees for the Fitness Centre, Arena and Aquatic Centre.

Multi-Purpose Room

The multi-purpose room holds up to 39 people and can be rented for events from meetings, birthday partys or training sessions.
