RDCK to recognize National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II

Nelson, BC:  The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK), following the lead of the federal and provincial government, will observe the national day of mourning to mark the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, September 19.

All RDCK offices, landfills, transfer stations and recycling depots will be closed on Monday, September 19. All RDCK recreation centres will remain open to help meet the needs of the community due to school closures.

Public Skating 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Fitness Centre 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
Aquatic Centre 6:00 am to 8:00 pm

Creston and District Community Complex
Fitness Centre 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
Aquatic Centre 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Nelson and District Community Complex
Fitness Centre 6:00 am to 9:00 pm
Aquatic Centre 6:00 am to 8:30 pm

Salmo Recreation
Fitness Centre 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
