Evacuation Alert for Properties in Slocan Valley

The Regional District of Central Kootenay has rescinded the State of Local Emergency as well as the Evacuation Order for properties in the Slocan Valley. However, due to the potential danger of debris flow and flooding, residents and visitors of the addresses below will be under Evacuation Alert and should be prepared to leave the area at short notice:

Residents are required to leave the affected area immediately and report to the reception centre at Crescent Valley Fire Hall at 1365 Highway 6.
