F280-12 in Practice
Rossland, BC
April 23, 2024
This full day session includes a review of the practical application of heat pump load calculations using F280-12 software and a site visit to discuss the pre-changeout processes and data collection for reviewing existing HVAC equipment performance.

BCBC 2018 Code Changes - Information Session
As of  May 1, 2023, BC has mandated an increase in the base energy efficiency requirement for new buildings by 20 per cent over an equivalent 2018 base building. This is equivalent to Step 3 for Part 9 (simple) buildings, and Step 2 for Part 3 (complex) buildings. Please see the Step Code page for more information.

On April 13, 2023, the RDCK and RDKB co-hosted a webinar detailing these changes. The recorded webinar can be see on the RDKB website.

Home Performance Stakeholder Council – Energy Retrofits Training
The Home Performance Stakeholder Council (HPSC) is a not-for-profit society that supports the growth of the home performance industry in BC. The HPSC offers free online training with the goal to enrol retrofit contractors in their Home Performance Contractor Network (HPCN). HPCN registration is valuable as homeowners are required to work with a HPCN registered contractor in order to qualify for CleanBC home energy efficiency rebates.
