Village of New Denver - Colin Moss
Colin grew up in the Okanagan where he worked in the printing industry for over thirty years. He and his wife Janice moved to New Denver in 2005 and Janice found work at the Slocan Community Health Centre. They started a landscape and property management business that is still ongoing.
In addition to his past work as a director of the New Denver historical society, Colin is a director on the local hospital auxiliary society board and has been a volunteer with the New Denver Hospice Society for the past eight years. He is a board member of the Friends and Family of Pavilion Residents Council and has been a director for the past eight years on the board of the Slocan District Chamber of Commerce. He is currently chair of the Chamber Health Committee. He is also a director on the board of the BC Rural Health Network. Colin shared the New Denver Good Citizen of the Year Award in 2013.
As a newly elected Councillor for the Village of New Denver and their appointed director on the RDCK board, Colin looks forward to working with and getting to know RDCK board and staff.
