City of Castlegar

The City of Castlegar is located within the Selkirk Mountains at the southern tip of Arrow Lake and the confluence of the Kootenay and Columbia Rivers.

Town of Creston

The Town of Creston is located at the south end of Kootenay Lake, between the Selkirk and Purcell Mountains, just north of the Canada/United States border.

Village of Kaslo

Located on the west shore of Kootenay Lake, just north east of Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park is the Village of Kaslo.

Village of Nakusp

The Village of Nakusp is located on the shores of Upper Arrow Lake surrounded by the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains.

City of Nelson

The largest municipality in the RDCK, the City of Nelson is located on the west arm of Kootenay Lake, nestled in the Selkirk Mountains.

Village of New Denver

On the eastern shore of Slocan Lake, the Village of New Denver is surrounded by the Selkirk Mountains.

Village of Salmo

Located at the confluence of the Salmo River, the Village of Salmo is located at the junction of the Crowsnest Highway (Highway 3) and Highway 6.

The second smallest municipality in British Columbia, the Village of Silverton is found on the eastern shore of Slocan Lake just south of New Denver.
