Bonnington Fire Structure

Earlier this morning a home at 3762 Thompson Rd, Bonnington was lost to a structure fire.

Currently there are 2 BC Wildfire helicopters, 3 RDCK fire departments with 8 fire apparatus, and 2 BC Wildfire crews are fighting the fire to prevent it from spreading as a wildfire.

 At the moment, the fire is contained to the structure and there is currently no need for evacuations.

Please remember that we are currently in an extreme fire hazard, and open burning and campfires are prohibited.  Stay prepared with your 72 hour kit in the case of an evacuation and please sign up for the Emergency Alert System at https://rdckemergency.connectrocket.com/.
