Grant and Rebate Programs

CleanBC

To support the move to high performance building, there are numerous rebates accessible for new and existing homes and commercial buildings.

CleanBC is helping British Columbians find rebates to save energy and lower greenhouse gas emissions in their homes. Rebates for new and existing residences can be seen at betterhomesbc.ca.

Better Buildings provides funding and capital incentives to encourage energy efficient design, construction and renovation of commercial buildings. Rebates for new and renovated commercial buildings can be found at betterbuildingsbc.ca.

Energy Conservation Assistance Program (ECAP)

If you rent or own your home and qualify based on your household income, this program offers free installation and supply of energy efficient products, this is available for those who rent or own their homes. Some homes may even qualify for a refrigerator, insulation and a natural gas furnace. FREE to participate: Program Reistration

Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan

The Canada Greener Homes Grant provides grants up to $5,000 towards energy upgrades and FREE EnerGuide evaluations (this is in addition to current CleanBC rebate offers).

The Canada Greener Homes Loan provides loans up to $40,000 towards energy upgrades with a repayment term of 10 years, interest-free.
