Advisory Planning & Heritage Commissions (APHC)

APHC Meetings

Meetings are open to the public

Local governments enact land use planning and decisions through official community plans, zoning bylaws, development permits, and development variance permits. An Advisory Planning and Heritage Commission (APHC) –an independent body comprised of local residents- can be established to make recommendations on proposed land use bylaws or permits that are referred to it by the RDCK regional board or electoral area director.

Minutes from the APHC meeting, must be finalized (signed) prior to posting on this site.  Subject to the frequency of their respective meetings, this may sometimes result in delays in posting the finalized minutes after the meeting date.

For copies of Advisory Planning and Heritage Commission Minutes, please contact plandept@rdck.bc.ca.
