He has had the opportunity to be on the Exhibition Society Committee and has been a part of hosting numerous events such as the Senior Games, Spring Fair, Dog Shows, Horse Shows, RCMP Musical Ride, music concerts and Bluegrass Jamboree. Rick is looking forward to the community’s upcoming signature event - the 20th Annual Fall Fair on September 19-20, 2015 - that the committee is currently planning for.
Rick takes pride in being the President of the Pass Creek Exhibition Society and is very proud of all the hard work that has been accomplished over the past 23 years. Pass Creek was voted "Best Small Fair in BC for 2013", an accolade that was a testament to everyone’s hard work and dedication.
Rick’s mandate is to listen to the people of Area J and deal with their issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Rick is thrilled to be the new Area J Director and he is looking forward to working hard with all the regional directors in the Central Kootenay, as well as with all levels of government.
